Dr. Renee Dickenson has been a practicing Veterinarian on the Border for many years and joined our centre in March 2007.
Renee was raised on a farm near Yackandandah Victoria, and her passion for animals originated from living on the land. Her interests were realized young as she collected her own little farm of animals ranging from horses, to guinea pigs, cats and ferrets.
In 1996, Renee graduated from the Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. She practiced as a full time mixed practice veterinarian in Albury for seven years, before making the decision to focus on feline medicine.
In 2003 Dr. Renee was admitted as a Member of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists by examination in Medicine of Cats.
The accreditation makes Dr. Dickenson the most qualified cat practitioner on the Border. Naturally, her focus is on health issues of the cat community, but Renee also has a dedicated interest in skin diseases of dogs and husbandry and management of pocket pets.
Dr Renee has four children, Jye, Georgia and twins Max and Nate.

Dr Rob started full time work at our practice in October 2008 after having been overseas for 18 months in the United Kingdom. Dr Rob is a local boy having grown up on a farm just north of Albury, and following his overseas adventures has decided to come home.
Dr Rob has grown up with animals his whole life and decided from a young age that he wanted to be a vet and those dreams were realised when graduating from Melbourne University Vet School in 2004.
His first work stint after graduation was in mixed animal practice at Kilmore where Dr Rob worked predominantly as a cattle and small animal veterinarian however also saw a range of other animals including horses, goats and alpacas.
Dr Rob enjoys a wide range of small animal veterinary practice with his main area of interest being canine medicine, in particular diseases of the eye. He strives to ensure all his patients are given the best care possible and keep owners informed and involved every step of the way.
Rob’s passion lies in acupuncture and he completed the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society Certificate run by the Australian Veterinary Acupuncture Association in November 2010. Since then he has dedicated his veterinary work to acupuncture only and works 1 day a week at Dr Jana's Veterinary Centre dealing with patients requiring acupuncture. The rest of his time is spent treating horses with acupuncture.
Dr Rob keeps himself busy outside of work playing basketball and kayaking and also maintains a keen interest in thoroughbred breeding and racing.
