Dr Jana Stevenson

Dr Jana Stevenson

(BVsc BVMS)

Member of the Australian Veterinary Association.

Member of the Australian Veterinary Behaviour Interest Group.

The principal of the practice graduated in 1992 from Murdoch University Perth, one of the youngest and most modern veterinary schools in Australia.

Qualifications Dr Jana holds are a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Biology and a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery.

Dr Jana has always felt an affinity with pets all her life and felt

a dream come true, when she was accepted into the veterinary degree in 1988. Since then she has never looked back and feels very privileged to spend most of her time dealing with pets and their owners. Upon graduating, she was lucky enough to gain her first work placement in a small rural community in WA, where she saw an extremely varied case load of amazing cases. Here she developed a passion for surgery, specifically orthopaedic cases, as her boss, an experienced orthopaedic veterinary surgeon was very eager to share his knowledge with her.

Over the years Dr Jana has been regularly attending

courses, seminars and practical workshops to keep up to

date with the very fast changing area of veterinary science.

During that time she has developed a specific interest in orthopaedics, oncology, feline medicine and animal behaviour.

She is a great believer in giving owners all options of treating a particular case and being there to give support and help make their decisions easier.

It is her mission to give the best possible veterinary service to her clients, to gain their trust, to respect their needs and feelings and to do the best possible for their pets.

Dr Jana lives with Snoopy the Beagle, Hugo the Boxer, Garfield the moggie, Possum the Siamese Cross and lots of goldfish.
