Puppy Pre-school

Puppy classes is a must for any owner wanting a well-behaved, friendly and sociable dog. These lessons are designed for puppies between the ages of 6 and 14 weeks, as it is much easier to train your puppy correctly from the start rather than having to correct bad behaviour later on.

Why is Puppy Pre-School important?

Each year thousands of dogs are destroyed or end up in pounds and rescue shelters (and are eventually euthanised) due to behavioural problems developing in later life. Albury dog rescue re-homes over 200 dog a year in Albury alone.

Due to vaccination requirements, it is very difficult to do this safely. Puppy Pre-School provides a safe environment for your puppy to socialise and classes are kept small (between 4 and 6 pups) so time can be spent with each puppy and their owners.

What do we cover?

The course runs for four weeks and uses the positive reinforcement method to cover topics such as dog psychology and pack behaviour, socialisation, house training, discipline, obedience training, fleas, exercise requirements, grooming, what to do in emergencies and dentistry. The classes will also cover any individual problems you may experience or questions you may want answered.
